Located in the Italian/Austrian border region, Nassfeld is the sunniest Austrian resort and the biggest resort in Carinthia, making it an ideal destination for school groups.

The resort has a fantastic snow record due to both its high altitude and great snow making coverage.

Nassfeld also has the longest gondola in Europe (New Millennium-Express) taking skiers to Madritsche with stunning views over both the Austrian and Italian Alps at 1990m altitude.

The vast amount of pistes allow for excellent skiing for all abilities.  There are 5 dedicated beginner slopes and 17 intermediate slopes.  Advanced skiers will be treated to outstanding skiinger under the Trogkofel Peak at 2280m. 

The resort also offers excellent facilities for snowboarders including two snowparks, one of which was host to the 2004 Junior World Championships.
